• 1948 New start after the 2nd World War with a repair workshop for tyres, retreading and wholesale trade in Freilassing/Bavaria.
• 1954 Start of the playing ball production in Freilassing.
• 1956 John is a first-time exhibitor at the Nuremberg Toy Fair.
• 1957 Official foundation of the company John Toys and expansion of the production programme to include inflatables and play figures.
